Meditation calms the body and mind, helping us cope with daily stress, anger and anxiety.  It clears the mind and helps us to access our intuition and awareness.  Meditation does not have to be spiritual or religious, nor it it a complex science.  Meditation can be practiced by everyone.  It will also benefit anyone who practices.
